RANCH MANAGER, JONATHAN ERICKSON
Located on I37 Mathis, Texas 100 miles of San Antonio and 40 miles North of Corpus Christi, Live Oak County Mathis was formed in the late 1800’s when Land Baron Thomas Mathis saw a need for town and donated 300 acres. The San Antonio/Aransas Pass railroad would pass through Mathis and gave ranches and farmers in the area an avenue to market their goods. Just as that railroad was important in the settling of South Texas, the modern interstate system is a convenience for automobile travel and DEA Ranch is conveniently located off of I37.
